I’m an MK (missionary kid), and you can guess how old I am, but I’ll be surprised if you guess correctly. :-). Living in my fifth country, on my fifth continent, I can see the Lord’s hand of direction throughout all of my life, starting with putting me in this wonderful family of mine (6th of 7 kids), and then bringing me to faith in Jesus Christ, so that I could be part of the family of God.
With the Lord’s help, I am daily growing in my walk with Him, and enjoy serving my family, cooking, reading, researching and learning about “whole foods” and a healthier lifestyle (I just might be considered a “crunchy” :-), knitting, and playing with my nieces and nephews whenever the opportunity affords.
I’ll admit that the idea of this blog started when a friend mentioned reviewing books for Bethany House, or other Christian publishing houses, so to be blatantly honest, I’m just using this as an excuse to read more books. 🙂 However, as I’ve thought a little more about it, I will probably post more than just book reviews. I hope to be able to provide a good resource for those who need “one more” book review blog, and be able to encourage you in your walk with the Lord, as the opportunity arises. Hopefully I will also feature some authors that I really admire (among them the above mentioned friend), so please pop by periodically and check out what’s going on (can’t promise how regular my posts will be :-).
